A front door even a Hobbit will love!
We chose not to replace the authentic arch top solid oak door (left). This door weighs nearly one hundred pounds. But no worries, hinges and hardware in the 40's was made of solid machined brass and this door is easily opend by our five year old. The black steel peek-door in the center is not only functional, but adds an architectural element only found in today's high valued homes.
The wide steps and walkway were treated with a texture & stain application (right) giving it a genuine Tuscan finish.
Knowing that vehicle parking can be a premium we added this bonus parking area tastefully decorated with landscape aggregate. The parking area is large enough to accommodate one large pick up, one SUV, and one car or medium trailer. The choice of aggregate was purposed to blend in with the concrete driveway and street to avoid becoming a focal point distracting from the beautiful home and lawn.

Privacy is a must. Your new home features a brand new six foot cedar plank privacy fence. Built with pressure treated lumber, stainless decking screws and portland cement, this great looking fence is certain to last for decades. The entire back yard was graded, coated with sandy loam, and replaced with hand rolled sod, fertilized and fed. Just add occasional water, and you've got the perfect backyard lawn for the children to play, your dog to run, or a heavy game of badmitton.
For your convenience and safety, we installed two gates. One man gate at the driveway entrance and one large swinging gate in the back corner. The swinging gate is large enough to accommodate most any vehicle, boat or trailer and is shown in the photo left. The gate was built to replicate the fence panels to provide landscape continuity.
